Quick answers

Why can’t Cardly inspect a page?

Chrome restricts extensions from running on certain browser pages, extension pages, and other protected URLs. Try Cardly on a normal website tab.

Why does a preview show fallback content?

If dedicated Open Graph or X/Twitter metadata is missing, Cardly may use standard page metadata so you can still understand the likely preview. The health checks will continue to flag the missing dedicated tags.

Does Cardly upload the page I’m inspecting?

No. Cardly’s core metadata inspection and diagnostics run locally in your browser.

What should I include in a bug report?

Please include your Chrome version, the webpage URL if it is public, which Cardly tab showed the problem, and a screenshot when possible.
